Bowling – wed 25th Nov

hey guys the program for tomorrow is bowling at Acocks Green.
we are meeting at half 7 outside to start bowling at 8 please bring £4.40 for bowling and £1 for entry into the alley. we aim to finish bowling around 9 o’clock so can parents be around for quarter past for pick up.

Bonfire night

Hi,

This Wed. we won’t be meeting at the headquarters – however we are meeting on Thursday for a bonfire night display at 1st solihull.

We’ll be meeting at 18:00 on Thursday night at Kwik Fit on Load Lane in Solihull by Henley Crescent we aim to head into the Mill Pool HQ about quarter past 6 as it tends to get busy!

Kids should bring £2 for entry and extra for food if required and Parents are more than welcome to attend if they wish also (£3 entry for adults).

The night is due to finish at around 20:00 where we will meet parents at Kwik Fit again. if anyone requires a lift please let me know as soon as possible

Alton Towers

Hello all
the good news is we are still going to alton towers on the 31st !
we aim to meet at the hut on sat morning and go to alton towers where we plan to spend our halloween! as far as tickets go we are looking for any discount vouchers or 2for1 offers that we can use on the 31st (check dates on voucher). otherwise it will be full price for tickets (i.e. about £37) plus money to spend in the theme park itself!! also to avoid disappointment on the day please be aware that some of the rides do have height restrictions (nemesis,air,oblivion and rita require a minimum height of 1.4m. and pete isn’t allowed on spin-ball whizzer as he is too tall!!!) and after a day fun we aim to be back at the HQ by 10
the bad news due to a lack of minibus we have limited space so we need an e-mail from anyone who is going to confirm we will then drop in your health form and give you any other information you may require!!

A Slight Change of Plan!!

Due to requests from some of you for a camp/outing over half term. We wont be at laser quest this wed (21/10)instead we will be at the headquarters at the normal time (19:30-21:30). Sorry for the late notice but by changing what we were due to be doing this week, it is hoped that more of you will be able to come away with us at half term!!

Due to the fact that the ice rink is closed till the end of october we are swimming at Stechford Cascades tonight. We’re meeting at half 7 until quarter past 9. please bring 4 pounds for entry.

This Wednesday! 16/9

…We are meeting at HQ 7:30pm with uniform.  If Scouts wish to they may bring Skate Boards, BMX’s, Skates (or perhaps a good old fashioned football!) with them as there will be an opportunity to spend the start of the evening in the park with Edd.
